Sony WF-C710N Leak

A well trusted source has provided me with some photos of the new WF-C710N, along with new additional details. We already had the design leak thanks to a Taiwanese certification, but now we get to see the new model in much more clearer detail. All 4 colours, black, white, pink, and glass blue, which is the transparent colour.

The rest of the details include a late May availability with a price around $110 to $120 USD. Apart from the ANC, there will be two ambient sound modes, Normal and Voice. Quick attention will also make its way to the WF-C710N. Finally the noise cancellation is dual NC, so 2 NC mics, feedback and feedforward. This should greatly increase the ANC performance.

From the photos of the glass blue, it looks like we will have a touch sensor and no physical button. In my opinion, the WF-C710N feels more like a better successor to the LinkBuds S than the LinkBuds Fit are.

Update 3 – March 21 2025

The earbuds have been certified in Mexico. Previously, the Mexican certs showed the chipset, but not with the new search and fillings. I have a feeling we are getting closer to an announcement, most likely early April.

So quick tidbits, the headset has appeared on Bluetooth SIG, but the page is not accessible yet. thanks Ed for the heads up.

Also I have received a first EU retail price point, 120 Euros without VAT.

Finally, here is a size comparison between the WF-C710N, WF-C700N and WF-C510.  I have used the size of the tips as a basis for comparison. The new model looks to be slightly larger in size than the old one, but this is to be expect if it has dual NC mics and possibly a larger battery.
