Sony Xperia 1 VIII Teaser – Reveal May 13th
Sony has posted up a teaser on their websites and YouTube channel for the new Xperia 1 VIII. The reveal is planned for next week.
The teaser does not reveal much, except for the 3 cameras lined up like we saw in the leaks.
The livestream will take place on May 13th, at 11:00 JST. or 4 am CEST. For those on the west coast, that will be 19:00 May 12th, and the east coast at 22:00 May 12th. For all other regions, click the embedded video below to see the date and time for your region.
The bottom camera does seem to lack the square shape we are familiar with on Sony’s zoom lenses. Like the Amazon Germany listing suggested, it would line up with the fixed 70mm focal length and not a periscope with optical zoom.
