Sony WH-1000XM6 Firmware Update Version 3.1.5
Sony has released a new firmware update for the WH-1000XM6. The new update brings something for gamers, support for GMAP. Sony is also testing a GMAP firmware for the WF-1000XM6.
Edit, users are reporting degraded noise cancellation performance, after the update, so update with caution.
- Adds support for the Gaming Audio Profile (GMAP)
Note: GMAP is a low-latency Bluetooth profile optimized for gaming. - Improves general performance
