Lowest price for Sony WH-1000XM6 and WF-1000XM6 on Amazon Canada so far
If you live in Canada and have been waiting for either the WH-1000XM6 or WF-1000XM6 to drop in price, well you are in luck. Both models are on sale at their lowest price ever on Amazon.
In addition, plenty of other Sony models are also discounted, with some feature significant savings. So time to check out the deals.
Sony WF-1000XM6 – $298 CAD – Amazon Canada
The WF-1000XM6 is discounted a whopping 30% right now, with a price of $298 CAD. I do not believe the WF-1000XM5 had such a big discount in its first year, not even during Black Friday. Looking through my old Black Friday posts, the WF-1000XM5 was discounted only $100 in its first Black Friday sale, so a discount of 30% is significant in the first year. Sony is working on a GMAP update for the earbuds, when that will be released I do not know.
Sony WH-1000XM6 – $478 CAD – Amazon Canada
Sony’s flagship model is currently discounted 20% on Amazon Canada. The headset received a GMAP update a while back, making them a good candidate for gaming. Just like the WF-1000XM6, this is the lowest price on Amazon since the headset was announced last year. I will mention there are some reports of the headband ring snapping for some users, but the issue so far is not as wide spread as the WH-1000XM5 hinge break.
Sony 1000X the Collexion – $748 CAD – Amazon Canada
Sony’s top of the line 1000X the Collexion has also dropped in price, back to its lowest level so far, discounted 12% to $748 CAD. Check out my comparison of the WH-1000XX and WH-1000XM6 in this post. While sharing some aspects, the WH-1000XX is definitely not a clone of the WH-1000XM6.
Sony LinkBuds Clip – $198 CAD – Amazon Canada
Sony’s LinkBuds Clip are also heavily discounted, a shocking 34% discount, now to $198 CAD. A lot of manufacturers are jumping on the Open Earbud segment, like Sennheiser and Bose, and it would not surprise me if Apple or Beats was working on a pair as well. I have a comparison post for the LinkBuds Clip and Sennheiser ACCENTUM Clip here for those interested. If people want me to make a post with the new Bose model as well, I can make one.
Sony WF-C710N – $98 – Amazon Canada
Sony’s most affordable noise cancelling earbuds, WF-C710N, are discounted more than 40%, down to $98 CAD. I bought mine last year in July 2025, and I started a review post, but never finished it. My quick impressions are that for the discounted price, the earbuds is a great buy. The sound quality is quite good, the noise cancellation is decent, but not at the level of the 1000X line. The comfort is great, even though they are a bit larger than my WF-1000XM5. I do use them practically daily, and they are my main go to earbuds at home since I bought them last year.
Sony WH-1000XM5 – $348 CAD – Amazon Canada
If you want to bold and risk buying the WH-1000XM5, then the 30% discount may be what tempts you. There are numerous user posts on Reddit regarding the hinge breaks, but those are usually from older models. Whether newer units suffer the same fate, I do not know. My own WH-1000XM5 is still holding on, but I doubt I use them as often as some users. So it is a risky buy, but the WH-1000XM5 is a great headset in terms of sound, noise cancelling. and comfort, especially when discounted.
Sony WH-CH720n – $118 – Amazon Canada
Sony’s affordable entry into noise cancellation, is discounted more than 50% right now. All 4 colours are off, so pick and choose whichever you want. I never wrote a review for my own WH-CH720N, but I did compare it to new WH-CH730N in my review. The WH-CH730N offers slightly better sound and ANC, and adds support for LC3. But that does not mean the WH-CH720N is not a good buy, especially at such a big discount. And if you decide to buy the WH-CH730N down the line, the good news is, that the earpads are interchangeable between the two models.
Sony WH-1000XM4C – $428 CAD – Amazon Canada
Unfortunately the newly announced WH-1000XM4C are not discounted, and still at their original MSRP, $428 CAD. I would wait for their price to drop, but that could be a while. Perhaps we can expect a 10-12% discount on Black Friday this year, but that is only my hope. I had a look at the FCC teardown and compared the new and old models to see what actually changed, spoiler, not much.
