Sony Xperia 10 VIII FCC Certification
Sony’s upcoming Xperia 10 VIII just passed through the FCC. Although nothing specifically is mentioned in the files confirming it is the 10 VIII, it follows last year’s 10 VII which was certified on the FCC around the same time, mid June 20225.
The FCC filing has some details, but they are limited as is always the case.
The new model retains the 3.5mm headphones jack like the previous model.

There are various model variants on the FCC, most likely for roaming purposes.
There are 4 LTE bands supported, 4, 5, 12, and 41 according to the filing, so most likely for roaming. and not the full supported list. There is no 5G support in the filing, so perhaps 5G roaming will not be supported by this model in the US. At least this is how I understand the results.
The NFC antenna looks like it may have moved a bit closer to the edge of the phone, but that is speculation based of the SAR photos.

WLAN support is only WiFi 6 according to the filing.

There is no information on the Bluetooth version.
Considering there is no Wi-Fi 7 supported, a possible candidate for the SoC would be a Snapdragon 6 gen 4, or possibly even Snapdragon 7 gen 4, as both models lack Wi-Fi 7 (be).
I will update this past later on once I get more free time to go through all the files and other possible SoCs.
