Sony WH-1000XM6 – Green

Thanks to a retailer, we have our first photos of the new green colour for the Sony WH-1000XM6. I do not have any details on a release date or whether the colour will actually be named green, but the new colour is different to my interpretation earlier this month.

The new colour is more of an olive green, or sage green, and the new colour does match well with the rest of the lineup.

The headset will most likely be announced early next week, Monday, but more likely Tuesday.

The Sound Connect app will have a green background/tint to match the new colour.

Here are the rest of the product shots. In the fourth photo below, the person is holding a new Sony Xperia 1 VIII, so even though the green colour appeared in import listings at the same time as the Sandstone colour, it seems that Sony always planned on announcing the green colour after the Xperia 1 VIII’s release.

I think the new colour will be revealed soon, with retail availability almost immediately.

So thoughts on the new colour? Sony should bring some of the WH-1000XM6 colours over to the WF-1000XM6 earbuds, especially the Sand Pink and Midnight Blue. But what about Sandstone and new green colour? Would these look good on the WF-1000XM6?
